Tribalco seeks a Quality and Compliance Specialist who will work with Tribalco's quality, contracts and human resources teams to manage Tribalco’s internal and external quality assurance program and processes. The candidate will participate in and oversee internal audits and will develop, maintain, and improve the company's policies, processes, and certifications. Candidates who have developed processes/workflows and implemented industry quality certification programs are preferred.
Responsibilities
Quality
- Develop and enforce quality standards, procedures, and policies to ensure products and services meet requirements.
- Monitor and audit quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with established standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee and participate in quality testing and inspections to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement strategies and plans to improve quality, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on process improvements.
- Work with various teams, including product development, manufacturing, and customer service, to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Stay up to date on relevant industry regulations and standards and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
- Work with the Teams and ensure the Tribalco Vendor Process is followed to include the Vendor Setup and Evaluations Process in Salesforce.
- Assist with analyzing and maintaining the Organizational Process Asset Library (PAL).
- Assist Departments, Divisions, and Project Teams:
- With tasks associated with their specific processes via Process Action Teams.
- Conduct gap analysis of Team-level assets and processes
- Provide recommendations to align with industry practices and standards that support Tribalco’s methodologies/standards
- As applicable, ensure standards, process descriptions, and/or procedures are appropriately tailored from the Organizational set of assets and documented accordingly to suit the team.
- Ensure process documentation is created and appropriately maintained in the designated configuration management portal/repository
- Assist with creating and maintaining process documentation, including process flows/models, templates, etc.
- Assist all teams with process training needs
- Ensure teams maintain baselines or appropriately request, document, and obtain approval regarding changes thereof
- Serve as process champion and mentor for departments, divisions, and programs/projects
- Conduct process assessments in accordance with the Master Assessment Schedule, as necessary.
- Track all Assessments/Audit nonconformances to closure.
- Assist in internal and external appraisal/readiness preparation.
- Provide status accounting and milestone completion data.
- Generate a Weekly Status Report.
Contracts
- Conduct new partner and vendor verifications and vetting.
- Help maintain current records for vendors, including applications, reps & certs and evaluations
HR
- Support the HR Director in maintaining international, federal, state, and local compliance requirements:
- EEO and VETS-100 reporting
- Evacuation Plans
- Annual Company Policy updates
- Job Postings and Salary Transparency
- Support the HR Director with internal compliance efforts for personnel:
- Employee Certification Forms
- Annual Training Requirements
- Assist with or oversee internal HR Audits:
- DBA and Workers' Compensation
- EEO and I-9 Documentation
- Support employee relations actions, like reviewing performance standards
Desired Skills
- Ability to identify, plan, and execute work independently with minimal or no oversight
- 5-7 years of applying Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) practices and requirements throughout the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC)
- Experience with creating and maintaining process documentation and process flow models
- Generate a Weekly Status Report.
- Experience with auditing departments, divisions, and programs/projects, reporting and tracking nonconformances to resolution
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience with the execution, monitoring, and administration of Quality/Process Improvement best practices
- Experience with participating in CMMI V3.0 and ISO 9001:2015 Internal and External audits
- Experience serving as a member of a Change Control Board (CCB) or Governance Board
- Ability to gather information and resolve issues independently
- Ability to identify, manage, and track progress and escalate issues as needed
- Ability to multitask in a changing environment
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Possess facilitation and presentation skills
Education and Certifications
- CMMI V3.0 or higher Practitioner Certification, required
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification, required
- HRCI or SHRM Human Resources Certification, desired
Clearance
- The Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with the ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
Compensation
- Salary Range: $70,000-$105,000
- The above salary range is a guideline; however, compensation is determined by a number of factors, including the scope of the position and the candidate's experience, education, certifications, training, skills, and market factors.
