Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Public Relations Manager to join our team. This role will directly manage client relationships, develop PR and influencer strategy and execute against them to elevate our clients' brands. The ideal candidate will be extremely self-motivated and have a strong background in public relations, social media and influencer marketing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling that resonates with target audiences. At Helios, you’ll work with a talented team to develop and implement effective PR strategies that deliver results.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism.
• Professional experience of at least 6 years, in a communications or social media agency.
• Advanced English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical and analytical thinking.
• Creative, proactive, responsible, extremely organized person, with the ability to work under pressure and oriented to customer service.
• Existing relationships with Colombian media required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning of strategic communications, social media, and public relations for assigned clients.
• Maintain an excellent relationship with clients to cultivate continued partnership and scope increases. 
• Writing communications content which includes. press releases, key messages, Q&A, biographies, holding statements, newsletters, and protocols, among others.
• Pitch and establish relationships with media and influencers: database updates, meeting management, monitoring of established agreements, calls, among others.
• Support in the coordination and execution of client activities and campaigns.
• Development of daily and monthly news and reports.
• Staying current on news and trends relevant to clients to make informed and strategic recommendations.
