This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position in the Bureau of Contract Management and Monitoring. The selected candidate’s office location is negotiable for northeastern Florida, central Florida and south Florida.
The mission of the Bureau of Contract Management and Monitoring is to oversee and ensure the effective administration, compliance, and performance of contracts within the organization.
This position is eligible for teleworking. Employees in this role may perform their duties remotely, subject to departmental guidelines and approval.
JOB DUTIES:
The Office of Administration is seeking a Public Health Nutrition Consultant (PHNC) to join our Contract Management and Monitoring Bureau. This position is responsible for monitoring compliance of nutrition and food service policies and procedures for the Department and providing technical assistance.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
The Florida Department of Corrections requires all job applicants and volunteers to pass a Level 2 background check as per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes. This check must be completed before they can start working or volunteering.
