The accountant will manage bank reconciliations, revenue recording, and accounts payable/receivable functions. They will also assist with financial reporting, balance sheet maintenance, and general ledger upkeep.

Essential Functions
- Assist with completion of monthly bank reconciliations.
- Review and record revenue.
- Support and complete a variety of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including entering in bills and invoices.
- Review and record all mortgage and utility payments.
- Assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of company balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with cash flow needs by ensuring that outstanding balances owed to the management company are paid in a timely manner.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
- Performing additional duties and completing special projects to assist the finance department on an as-needed basis.
Requisites
- 2-5 years of experience with real estate accounting and financial reporting for US-based companies (familiarity with GAAP and IRS).
- Command of the English language: written and verbal
- Experience with hospitality revenue accounting is a plus, but not required for candidates with a strong real estate accounting background. For example, experience with accounting involving platforms like Airbnb is a strong advantage for this position.
- Experience using cloud-based accounting software and experience using SAGE Intacct is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation
This is a full-time and fully remote role. Compensation for this position is based on a flat monthly rate and varies based on experience.
