Position Summary
Leads the planning, execution, and successful delivery of business enablement initiatives, with a primary focus on Clinical Care Management (CCM) user acceptance testing (UAT). Establishes project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets; allocates resources; and manages execution from initiation through completion. Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate status, manage risks and issues, and control scope and change to ensure on-time, within budget delivery and adherence to quality standards. This individual contributor role blends expertise in stakeholder engagement, requirements definition and analysis, business readiness, and testing governance. The ideal candidate has experience with care management programs, processes, and systems and serves as a strategic partner to business and technology teams.
Role Responsibilities:
- Allocates accountability by assigning clear responsibilities and expectations to project team members, ensuring effective project execution across UAT strategy and governance, preparation and readiness, execution and issue management, and stakeholder communication and reporting.
- Analyzes the organization's project management practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance project efficiency and success with a focus on user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Approves project plans, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Attends and leads project meetings, as needed, and collaborates with multiple departments to achieve OneCM UAT milestones.
- Communicates direction and project goals to the project team, providing clear guidance and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conducts project evaluations and assessments by monitoring progress, identifying risks and issues, and taking corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Consolidates information from various sources to synthesize project data and insights and provide comprehensive UAT reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Leads strategic discussions with business units, platform teams, DDAT teams, operations, vendors, and external partners to gather input and guide clinical system UAT requirements.
- Elicits and analyzes data to shape functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals, user needs, and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, state, and group contracts).
- Defines UAT scenarios and business acceptance criteria; owns the enterprise UAT strategy and testing governance for Clinical Care Management (CCM); drives UAT preparation and readiness; oversees UAT execution and defect/issue management; delivers executive-ready UAT reporting; supports go/no-go release decisions; authors test scripts; documents defects; and partners with product and development teams to ensure resolution prior to UAT execution.
- Creates detailed end-user journey maps for internal and external users (e.g., members, providers, care managers) to visualize interactions, decision points, and system dependencies, using insights to inform product design, testing, and implementation strategies that enhance user experience and system clarity.
- Supports system implementations by contributing to training, communication, and change management efforts. Monitors post-launch performance and drives continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications
- Brings 7–10 years of experience as a senior individual contributor leading UAT strategy, governance, and execution for complex, cross-functional initiatives.

- Demonstrates familiarity with enterprise health platforms, digital tools, and user testing frameworks.
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred; specialized training or relevant professional qualification.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
