Project Manager – SAP CPQ

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in SAP CPQ and enterprise IT project delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end project execution, managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, and driving successful SAP CPQ implementation and enhancement initiatives.

The candidate should possess excellent stakeholder management, risk management, and project governance skills, along with a proven track record of delivering complex technology projects within scope, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP CPQ and enterprise IT projects from initiation through closure.
  

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  

• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  

• Coordinate internal teams, business users, SAP consultants, and external vendors to achieve project objectives.
  

• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  

• Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, steering committee discussions, and stakeholder communications.
  

• Track project performance using key metrics and ensure timely escalation of critical issues.
  

• Manage change requests, scope modifications, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  

• Ensure successful delivery of SAP CPQ implementations, enhancements, integrations, and support initiatives.
  

• Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, methodologies, and delivery standards.
  

Required Skills & Experience

Project Management

• 10–18 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects.
  

• Strong expertise in project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  

• Experience managing Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project methodologies.
  

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  

• Strong risk management, issue resolution, and escalation management capabilities.
  

• Experience managing distributed and remote teams across multiple geographies.
  

SAP CPQ Expertise

• Hands-on experience delivering SAP CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) projects.
  

• Understanding of SAP CPQ implementation, configuration, integrations, and business processes.
  

• Experience coordinating with SAP functional and technical teams.
  

• Knowledge of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) and Configure-Price-Quote business processes.
  

• Familiarity with SAP ecosystem integrations and enterprise application landscapes.
  

Leadership & Communication

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  

• Experience presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  

Performance Expectations

The selected candidate will be measured against the following delivery metrics:

• 100% of projects must have detailed project plans and effective variance control mechanisms.
  

• 100% adherence to project governance, cost tracking, and change management processes.
  

• Delivery of project milestones on or before planned schedules (within acceptable variance).
