About the role:

We're seeking a Commercial Excellence Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver high-impact operational and commercial excellence initiatives that strengthen Videojet's go-to-market effectiveness across Europe.

In this role, you'll manage cross-functional projects end-to-end — driving improvements in sales productivity, commercial process quality, and execution discipline across European markets. This is an opportunity to build deep expertise at the intersection of project management and commercial operations, while contributing to meaningful business transformation within a globally recognized, purpose-driven organization.

You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and regional leadership teams to align projects to strategic priorities and translate commercial goals into structured, executable plans. This role requires approximately 25% travel across the European region to engage with stakeholders, support project deployment, and drive on-the-ground implementation. Success in this role means a visible portfolio of delivered initiatives, measurable improvements in commercial KPIs, and strong cross-functional credibility — all within 12–18 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management of commercial and operational excellence initiatives across European markets, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and milestones are consistently met.
  • Drive the deployment of commercial process improvements, sales enablement programs, and pricing execution strategies that improve team productivity and customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to define project scope, goals, and resource plans aligned to regional business priorities.
  • Analyze commercial performance data, project KPIs, and process metrics to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities — translating findings into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Build and maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reporting to ensure stakeholders are aligned, decisions are transparent, and progress is consistently communicated.
  • Champion best practices in project governance, change management, and standard work deployment to embed rigor and consistency across commercial operations.
  • Coordinate structured stakeholder communication and facilitate regular project reviews — including on-site sessions during travel — to drive accountability and accelerate decisions.
  • Support the development and rollout of commercial tools, frameworks, and processes that improve team efficiency and enable scalable, repeatable growth across Europe.
  • Deliver post-project reviews and lessons-learned documentation to build a culture of continuous improvement within the Operational Excellence team.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

Minimum Qualifications

These are the must-have requirements for the role:

  • Experience in project management, commercial operations, or operational excellence within a B2B or industrial environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and delivering measurable results on time and within scope
  • Experience with project management tools and CRM or commercial platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to align cross-functional stakeholders and present insights to senior leadership across multiple markets

Preferred Qualifications

These are nice-to-have skills that will set candidates apart:

  • Experience in commercial excellence, sales effectiveness, or go-to-market transformation within a global industrial or technology company
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential
  • Background in business analytics, commercial reporting, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Danaher Business System / VES)
  • Experience working within a matrixed, multi-country organization in the European market
  • Proficiency in an additional European language
