JOB SUMMARY:

The Revenue Cycle Healthcare Project Manager provides organization of client projects through the coordination and completion of projects on time and within scope.

The Project Manager oversees all aspects of projects such as establishing deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, and summarize progress of project. Assist in preparing reports for clients and upper management. Interacts with a diverse group of clients as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload, recommends opportunities for improvement in departmental practices and procedures. Experience in coding services both domestically and globally.

This is REMOTE within the US only.


We are looking for an experience Project Manager with experience in the healthcare domain, revenue cycle management, hospital/facility or VA environment.


  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Demonstrated creativity and flexibility.
  • Ability to operate in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to function independently and deal with multiple, simultaneous projects. 
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Effective organizational, planning and project management abilities.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet with clients to obtain details and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Self-starter with a willingness to try new ideas
  • Demonstrated innovative approach to problem resolution.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Assist in maintaining Salesforce / PULSE updates on projects and/or coding and auditing.
  • Effective analytical ability to develop and analyze options, recommend solutions to and solve complex problems and issues.
  • Maintain organized files.
  • Ability to effect collaborative and promote teamwork.
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven working experience in project management.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Exhibit excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple, inter-disciplinary projects as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
  • High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters, and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity. 
  • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
  • Excellent professional communication and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and other applications as needed.
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Strong computer knowledge
  • Inspires confidence, appropriate risk taking and achievement of high standards.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with administrative procedures
  • Must be flexible with schedule and availability.
  • Effective communication skills both in written and verbal presentation with a communication style that is open and foster trust, credibility and understanding.
  • Ability to create win/win solutions and relationships.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regular eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity is required to operate office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. At times, Team Members are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, Team Member must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Team Member may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
