Project Management & Software Training Instructor

Agile Group is seeking an experienced Project Management & Software Training Instructor to support our U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Department of Defense (DoD), and international training programs.

- ☑ Project Management Experience: Hands-on experience managing projects and applying project management methodologies, scheduling, or project controls.
- ☑ Classroom Training Experience: Proven experience delivering live, instructor-led training to adult professionals. Classroom instruction is essential.
- ☑ Travel Availability: Willing and able to travel approximately 30–40 days annually, including both domestic and international assignments, potentially involving multi-week trips.
What You'll Do
- Deliver instructor-led training in project management fundamentals, methodologies, scheduling, project controls, and related software applications.
- Teach professionals ranging from entry-level practitioners to experienced project managers.
- Provide hands-on software instruction involving project management and scheduling platforms.
- Develop and adapt course materials, exercises, case studies, and practical workshops.
- Support training programs for USACE, DoD, and international customers, including engineering and infrastructure organizations.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated professional experience in project management, preferably in engineering, construction, government, or infrastructure environments.
- Proven experience delivering in-person classroom training to professional audiences.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software platforms such as Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, Microsoft Project, or comparable systems.
- Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- PMP certification, PMI-related credentials, or formal instructor qualifications are highly desirable.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements — Please Apply Only If You Meet All of These
- 8+ years of hands-on project/program management experience managing complex projects or programs.
- Demonstrated experience teaching or facilitating project management concepts to adult professionals.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling and project controls, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and performance.
- PMP certification or equivalent demonstrated senior-level project management expertise.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively, domestically and internationally, including recurring multi-week assignments.
- Experience in Federal/DoD, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or similarly complex project environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting USACE, DoD, or another Federal agency.
- Familiarity with USACE Project Management Business Process (PMBP) and Project Delivery Team environments.
- Experience with engineering, construction, infrastructure, or major capital programs.
- Experience with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and integrated project controls.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).
- Experience developing project management or scheduling curriculum.
- Experience delivering multi-day or multi-week professional training.
- Experience delivering training internationally or to multicultural audiences.
- Experience working with interpreters or translated instructional materials.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in project management, engineering, construction management, business, or a related discipline.
