Moving Space Forward

Rocketdyne is back — and we're just getting started. We are unleashing decades of unrivaled flight heritage to power the most critical missions in space today, from the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope to an MMRTG journeying to Saturn's largest moon. National security space is shifting to proliferated constellations, creating compounding demand for exactly what we build. If you want to do the most important work of your career at a company where One, Trust, and Bold are a way of life, Rocketdyne is your place.

The Role

The Program Integration Principal serves as a trusted operating partner to the VP of Programs and COO, building the execution infrastructure that connects strategy to results across the enterprise. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role requiring strong business acumen, analytical rigor, and the ability to drive accountability across senior leaders and functions without direct authority. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving, complex environments and is motivated by building structure, improving decision-making, and helping organizations execute at their best.

This position will be Remote.

Success in this role looks like:

  • A business operating rhythm that drives better decisions and faster execution
  • A KPI framework that gives leaders real visibility into operational health
  • Program management standards that improve execution without adding bureaucracy
  • Executive materials that are clear, accurate, and decision-ready
  • Demonstrated accountability, cross-functional coordination, and measurable operational improvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the company's business operating rhythm — establishing clear standards for meeting inputs, outputs, decision-making, action tracking, and accountability
  • Partner with the COO and VP of Programs to ensure operating reviews are focused on the metrics, risks, decisions, and actions that matter most
  • Build and maintain an enterprise-wide KPI framework — defining meaningful indicators, ownership, reporting cadence, and governance in partnership with functional leaders
  • Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and management reports that enable leaders to quickly identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Drive root-cause analysis when performance deviates from plan and translate findings into corrective actions
  • Establish and continuously improve program management best practices, tools, templates, and governance standards across the organization
  • Create lightweight, scalable processes that strengthen execution without introducing unnecessary overhead
  • Partner with site and functional leaders to evaluate operational performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, cost, quality, and delivery
  • Develop consistent methods for comparing performance across sites and surfacing meaningful performance drivers
  • Translate complex operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership

Why This Role Matters

Rocketdyne is in a defining moment — a newly independent company with an iconic brand, a rapidly expanding market, and a leadership team moving with urgency and purpose. The Program Integration Principal is the infrastructure behind the execution. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and performance across every site and function that matters to the COO and the enterprise. It demands someone who embodies One — connecting teams, data, and processes across a complex organization — who leads with Trust — delivering analysis and recommendations that leaders can rely on — and who is truly Bold — willing to challenge assumptions, hold the organization accountable, and build what doesn't yet exist.

Basic Qualifications

  • Previous progressive experience in business operations, program management, strategy and operations, or a related field in a complex, multi-site, or rapidly scaling organization
  • Demonstrated experience designing and managing executive-level operating reviews and performance reporting
  • U.S. Person status with eligibility for a security clearance, required given ITAR obligations and site footprint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong program management capabilities with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving senior stakeholders
  • Experience developing KPI frameworks, dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to translate operational data into insights, decisions, and actions
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with experience developing materials that go directly to senior leadership
  • Proven ability to influence and drive accountability across teams without relying on direct authority
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement, operational excellence, or Lean methodologies
  • Prior experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or a private-equity-owned business
  • Experience supporting a COO, business unit leader, or senior operating executive in a carve-out, separation, or post-transaction environment
