We are building Qompyl, a mobile-first, no-code algorithmic strategy builder for day traders and investors. Our mission is to democratize strategy creation and empower traders to turn ideas into testable, data-driven systems.
Qompyl focuses on a hands-on, visual, and intuitive experience, combining strategy building, backtesting, and gamified elements to make complex trading concepts accessible to a broader audience.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Product Owner to support the execution of Qompyl’s product strategy, working closely with Product Management and engineering, with a strong focus on mobile experience and App Store delivery.
This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, user experience definition, and engineering delivery. You will work closely with engineers to define how the product works in practice, including application flows, feature behavior, integrations, and user experience details, and translate that into clear, prioritized, delivery ready work.

Partner with Product Management to support product strategy execution, contributing to prioritization and sequencing decisions.
Work closely with engineers to define detailed product behavior, user flows, edge cases, system interactions, and integration requirements before and during development.
Work with engineering to define how the app interacts with backend services, APIs, third party integrations, and mobile platform constraints.
Collaborate with design and engineering to define and refine end to end user journeys, screen flows, interaction patterns, and overall mobile user experience.
Translate roadmap initiatives into well defined product requirements and behavior specifictions, user stories, flows, edge cases, and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from with minimal ambiguity.
Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects strategic priorities and is ready for delivery.
Act as the primary day to day product partner for engineers, working closely with them to clarify requirements, answer implementation questions, and make real time product decisions during development.
Support mobile feature development and App Store-related initiatives, ensuring requirements are properly captured and executed.
Participate in backlog refinement, planning, and review ceremonies to maintain alignment and delivery momentum.
Actively accompany features from concept to release, helping resolve scope questions and trade-offs as they arise.
Monitor product outcomes and user feedback to inform continuous improvement and future prioritization.
A "customer-first" mentality with a deep empathy for user pain points and a drive to solve them.
REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years of experience in Product roles including hands-on work on mobile-first or consumer-facing digital products.
Strong experience working with Agile / Scrum teams, owning backlogs and delivery workflows.
Proven ability to translate strategic goals into detailed product behavior, user flows, and actionable requirements that engineers can implement.
Solid understanding of mobile-first product development.
Experience using product delivery and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence and collaborating closely with engineering teams in modern product environments.
Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
NICE TO HAVE
Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or data-driven products.
Familiarity with gamification concepts and engagement-driven product design.
General understanding of modern product and engineering environments (e.g. frontend frameworks, API-driven architectures).
Experience supporting App Store release processes.
