About the Role


About the Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of IXOPAY's Payment Orchestration and AI Payments Intelligence platform.

In this role, you'll work closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and enterprise customers to build data-driven products that help merchants optimize payment performance, improve conversion rates, manage risk, and make smarter business decisions. You'll balance customer needs, market trends, and business priorities to deliver innovative solutions that have measurable impact.


What You'll Do

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for Payment Orchestration and AI Payments Intelligence.

  • Define product requirements, user stories, and roadmaps based on customer feedback, market trends, and business value.

  • Partner with Engineering to deliver features including observability, AI-powered insights, anomaly detection, dashboards, and workflow automation.

  • Collaborate with Design to create intuitive user experiences for analytics, reporting, configuration, and payment management.

  • Analyze payment and transaction data to identify opportunities, validate product decisions, and define meaningful KPIs.

  • Monitor key payment metrics such as authorization rates, chargebacks, processing latency, and operational performance to guide roadmap priorities.

  • Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand challenges, gather feedback, and continuously improve the platform.

  • Support go-to-market activities by creating product documentation, training materials, and enablement resources.

  • Stay current with emerging trends in payments, AI, analytics, and regulatory requirements to inform product strategy.


What You'll Bring

Required

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience in payments, FinTech, data analytics, or a related technology environment.

  • Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including payment orchestration, acquiring, payment gateways, PSPs, or financial operations.

  • Experience defining product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and delivering products using Agile methodologies.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to guide product decisions and measure outcomes.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working for a merchant, payment service provider, acquirer, or payments technology company.

  • Experience with business intelligence or analytics platforms such as Grafana, Tableau, or Metabase.

  • Experience building AI-powered or data-intensive products.

  • Familiarity with UX design processes and creating user experiences for analytics or enterprise applications.


Location

This is a remote-friendly position based in Germany. We welcome applications from candidates across Germany, with a preference for those located in or near Munich. You'll have the flexibility to work remotely or from our Munich office.

Compensation: Annual gross base salary starting from €75,000, with the final offer based on your qualifications, experience, and skills.
