Senior ServiceNow Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in ServiceNow, specifically IT Service Management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing and enhancing Release Management, Change Management, Incident Management, DevOps integrations, and deployment automation while ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow ITSM solutions.
• Create ITSM workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, Script Includes, Flow Designer flows, and catalog items.
• Configure release lifecycles, release phases, milestones, release tasks, approvals, and deployment workflows.
• Integrate Release Management with Change Management, CMDB, DevOps, Agile Development, and CI/CD tools.
• Develop REST and SOAP integrations with enterprise systems including Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab, Jira, and other deployment tools.
• Build and maintain Flow Designer automations to streamline release approvals, notifications, deployment tasks, and post-deployment validation.
• Develop custom reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics to monitor release KPIs and deployment success metrics.
• Ensure release solutions comply with ITIL best practices, governance standards, audit requirements, and organizational policies.
• Support production releases and participate in release planning, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Perform code reviews and enforce ServiceNow development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with platform architects to design scalable, upgrade-safe ServiceNow solutions.
• Document technical designs, configuration guides, support procedures, and release processes.
• Mentor junior ServiceNow developers and provide technical leadership across project teams.
• Participate in platform upgrades, regression testing, and release validation activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow.
• Strong experience with ITSM modules 
• Advanced JavaScript development experience within the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and IntegrationHub Spokes.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with CI/CD and DevOps platforms.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with Update Sets, Source Control, Application Repository, and deployment strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Additional experience with other ServiceNow modules is a plus
