The Product Manager-Empower plays a key role in guiding the development and success of PRC-Saltillo products. This role works closely with AAC users, families, professionals, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify needs, prioritize solutions, and ensure products align with customer expectations and business goals. The Product Manager helps drive projects from concept through delivery while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the process.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains a deep understanding of AAC users, communication partners, professionals, and industry trends.
  • Conducts market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and support product strategy.
  • Maintains and prioritizes stakeholder and customer needs.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to define products and features that align with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Monitors project progress, timelines, and performance metrics while proactively addressing risks and obstacles.
  • Gathers and communicates stakeholder feedback throughout the product development process.
  • Collaborates with engineering, clinical, and business teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Supports product compliance requirements and works with stakeholders to address related needs.
  • Communicates product updates, new features, and known issues to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Manages external vendors and subcontractors as needed.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Speech-Language Pathology, Engineering, or a related field required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating and/or collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications.
