Now, we’re scaling and we’re looking for a Product Manager

About the Role

As Product Manager, you'll own the discovery, delivery, and continuous optimization of products that help merchants maximize payment performance and revenue recovery. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Customer Success, and commercial teams to turn customer needs, business priorities, and platform capabilities into products that deliver measurable outcomes. Your focus: building critical platform connections and API capabilities that improve payment approvals, drive adoption, and create exceptional customer experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the product lifecycle from discovery through launch and continuous optimization for client-facing products.
  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with Revaly's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct customer research, analyze payment data, gather stakeholder feedback, and monitor market trends to identify high-impact opportunities.
  • Translate business objectives into detailed product briefs, PRDs, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that enable Engineering to deliver with confidence.
  • Prioritize and maintain a healthy product backlog using customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Product Design to deliver high-quality features on time while removing blockers and driving decisions quickly.
  • Lead product optimization initiatives using experimentation, A/B testing, customer feedback, and analytics to improve adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Define success metrics, instrumentation requirements, and post-launch reporting to ensure every release is measurable and continuously improved.
  • Coordinate product launches across Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure successful adoption and enablement.
  • Work closely with consumers and technical stakeholders to build developer-friendly integrations and improve the overall API experience.
  • Leverage AI tools, including Claude, Claude Code, and Claude Work, to accelerate product discovery, documentation, backlog refinement, requirements creation, and product execution.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience building and scaling SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated success leading products from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Strong experience translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and product documentation.
  • Experience managing REST APIs or developer-focused products with a strong understanding of API design, integrations, and documentation.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments using Jira.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to prioritize work, measure outcomes, and inform product decisions.
  • Experience within payments, FinTech, financial infrastructure, or adjacent industries is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving startup or high-growth technology environments.
  • Familiarity and curiosity with AI-powered productivity tools.
  • Experience using Claude, Claude Code, and Claude Work to improve product management workflows and team productivity.
  • A calm, confident communicator who thrives in fast-moving, high-accountability environments.
  • Naturally curious, customer-focused, and comfortable challenging assumptions to find better solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams.

What Success Looks Like

  • Within the first 90 days, develop a deep understanding of Revaly's payments platform, customer workflows, APIs, and product roadmap while establishing strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Within 6 months, successfully deliver high-impact product initiatives that improve customer experience, strengthen API capabilities, and ship on time with measurable business impact.
  • Improve product adoption, engagement, and customer satisfaction through continuous discovery, experimentation, and iterative product improvements.
  • Build a consistently prioritized backlog that enables Engineering teams to execute with clarity, speed, and minimal ambiguity.
  • Establish meaningful product metrics and reporting that drive better product decisions and demonstrate measurable improvements in approval rates, customer adoption, and platform performance.
  • Become a trusted product partner who brings clarity to complex problems, aligns stakeholders around priorities, and consistently delivers customer and business value.

What to Expect from the Hiring Process

We believe hiring should feel like a conversation, not a test. Here’s what you can expect if you apply:

Step 1 — Conversation with People & Culture (30 minutes)

If your experience looks like a fit, you’ll meet with our Head of People & Culture for a video chat. It’s a two-way conversation, we’ll learn about your background, skills, and what energizes you, and you’ll have space to ask about Revaly, our mission, and what it’s like to work here. It’s also a chance to make sure the vibes are right on both sides.

Step 2 — Conversation with the Hiring Manager (60 minutes)

Next, you’ll meet with the hiring manager for a deeper dive into your role-specific experience. We’ll talk through real scenarios, how you approach challenges, and what success looks like in this role. You’ll also get a clearer picture of the team’s goals and priorities.

Step 3 — Meet a Future Teammate (60 minutes)

In this stage, you’ll meet with someone from the team you’ll work closely with. This is your chance to get an on-the-ground perspective, how the team collaborates, what day-to-day looks like, and the kind of people you’ll be building alongside.

Step 4 — 90 Day Ramp Up Presentation (30 minutes)

In this final stage, we ask candidates to prepare and present a 90 day ramp up plan to the hiring manager. This is an opportunity for candidates to outline how they would approach their first 3 months in the role, what they’d aim to learn, prioritize, and accomplish. This is a chance to show your understanding of the role, the company, and the environment we’re operating in, while giving the hiring manager a glimpse into how you think, structure your approach to learning and communicate your ideas.

We hire for both skill and fit, looking for people who are not just aligned with our values, but who will add to our culture with their ideas, energy, and perspective.

If you’ve applied for a role in Technology or Product Development, you can also expect a skill-based assessment between step 3 and 4, to help us assess some key role-based requirements.
