Own end-to-end product delivery for outcome verticals, from intake and prioritization to build, release, and measurement. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop roadmaps and ship technology that improves care for members and frontline teams.

Job Description:

As a Product Manager 2 at Cityblock, you will own end-to-end product delivery within one of our outcome verticals all the way from intake and prioritization through build, release, and measurement. You will partner closely with engineering, data science, analytics, design, and clinical and operational stakeholders to ship technology that makes a real difference for our members and frontline teams. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone who is comfortable navigating complexity, driving clarity, and holding a high bar for outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the development and execution of a product roadmap that reflects member and business needs, translating strategy into a sequenced, prioritized backlog your squad can execute with confidence

  • Drive cross-functional delivery by partnering with engineering, data science, analytics, design, and operations to scope, build, and ship solutions; facilitate sprint ceremonies and keep the team moving

  • Develop deep empathy for internal and external customers; identify pain points, validate hypotheses, and translate insights into clear, actionable requirements and user stories

  • Define success criteria upfront and partner with analytics to track KPIs; use data to inform decisions, identify opportunities, and demonstrate product impact to stakeholders

  • Build clear business cases for new features and investments that connect product decisions to member and business value

  • Work across the full product surface (from data ingestion and integrations to user-facing workflows) ensuring a cohesive, reliable experience across all technology touchpoints

  • Author clear PRDs that define who the user is, what problem is being solved, what success looks like, and what's explicitly out of scope, giving engineering, data, and design a reliable foundation to build from

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management

  • Experience working with high-risk patient populations or within value-based care models

  • Ability to deeply understand internal and external customer pain points and translate them into product solutions that deliver measurable business value

  • Proficiency in analyzing metrics, user behavior, and business performance data to guide product decisions, including understanding key performance indicators, genAI prototype building/testing, and using analytics tools to measure success

  • Capability to influence and coordinate across engineering, data science, design, and operations teams without direct authority

  • Working understanding of software development processes, APIs, system architecture, and relevant emerging technologies

  • Experience with agile methodologies, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and iterative development approaches

  • Skill in translating business objectives into clear, actionable product requirements and user stories that development teams can execute effectively

  • Experience building full-stack technology solutions from data ingestion to UX

  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and integration requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in product management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)

  • Experience with healthcare data migration and system integration

Personal Attributes:

  • Intellectual curiosity: Drive to explore complex problems and adapt to changing conditions

  • Systems thinking: See organizational connections and understand downstream impact of product decisions

  • Ownership mindset: Take personal responsibility for product outcomes, not just features shipped

  • Influential leadership: Persuade and inspire without formal authority, earning trust through clarity and follow-through

  • Resilience: Bounce back from setbacks and pivot when needed
