At Teladoc Health, you are empowered to bring your true self to work while helping millions of people live their healthiest lives.

Here you will be part of a high-performance culture where colleagues embrace challenges, drive transformative solutions, and create opportunities for growth. Together, we’re transforming how better health happens.

Summary of Position

You’ll own the product strategy and roadmap for Teladoc Health’s service communications and orchestration layer: the capabilities that determine when, why, and how members receive the right message across their care journey.

This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, clinical programs, data, engineering, and operations. You will lead the evolution from distributed communications systems toward a scalable, data-driven orchestration platform that can support service communications, clinical nudges, onboarding journeys, communication preferences, and future AI-driven engagement.

A major focus on the role will be shaping Teladoc Health’s next-generation communication automation and orchestration strategy, including evaluation and adoption of best-in-class platforms that enable this strategy. You’ll need enough product and technical fluency to separate narrow internal builds from true platform capabilities, influence vendor and architecture decisions, and ensure the chosen path supports both near-term delivery and long-term member engagement needs.

This role demands more than delivery management. You’ll need to connect communications infrastructure to measurable business outcomes: visit growth, repeat engagement, reduced member friction, improved care-program activation, and operational efficiency. You’ll operate with high autonomy, bring a strong point of view in ambiguous cross-functional environments, and move teams toward a coherent strategy even when ownership is distributed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the member communications orchestration product strategy: define and drive the roadmap for member communications capabilities across service, clinical, and engagement use cases, with clear linkage to member experience and business outcomes.

  • Lead build-vs-buy and vendor strategy: evaluate orchestration/CDP platforms; shape POC scope; partner with procurement, marketing, data, and engineering to make informed platform decisions.

  • Advance the migration path from distributed communications infrastructure; help define the transition from distributed paths toward a more scalable orchestration model.

  • Own communication preferences and consent experience: drive the product roadmap for member-facing communication preferences, data integrations, campaign remapping, and end-to-end testing so members have clear, trustworthy control over how Teladoc communicates with them.

  • Enable data-driven and AI-powered engagement: partner with data, AI, clinical, and product teams to support personalized nudges, journey-based messaging, suppression logic, segmentation, and next-best-action capabilities.

  • Translate complex architecture into product direction: work deeply with engineering, data, marketing ops, and platform teams on Snowflake, CDP, content management, orchestration logic, APIs, and downstream delivery systems; make tradeoffs visible and actionable.

  • Build the measurement framework: define success metrics for communications capabilities, including delivery performance, member engagement, booking conversion, repeat visits, suppression accuracy, preference adoption, and operational efficiency.

  • Navigate complex stakeholders: operate as a credible senior product voice across marketing, DAI/data, engineering, clinical services, operations, legal/privacy, design, and executive leadership; synthesize competing priorities into a coherent product direction.

  • Raise the bar on member trust and experience quality: ensure communications are timely, relevant, clinically appropriate, consent-aware, and not just operationally convenient; protect the member experience in areas where metrics alone do not capture trust or frustration.

The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs.

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in consumer-facing, platform, engagement, lifecycle, growth, CRM, or marketing-technology domains.

  • Demonstrated ability to connect product roadmap decisions to business outcomes, including activation, conversion, retention, visit growth, operational efficiency, or revenue impact.

  • Hands-on experience implementing, integrating, configuring, or owning communications, lifecycle, CRM, marketing automation, journey orchestration, or customer engagement platforms such as Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Customer.io, or similar systems.

  • Strong technical fluency, including the ability to engage substantively with engineering and data teams on architecture tradeoffs, APIs, event triggers, data pipelines, segmentation, consent/preference logic, and implementation complexity.

  • Experience leading build-vs-buy decisions, vendor evaluations, POCs, platform migrations, or large cross-functional capability investments.

  • Strong product judgment in ambiguous environments: able to distinguish narrow feature delivery from durable platform capability, and able to sequence work across near-term releases and long-term architecture needs.

  • Deep comfort working across marketing, product, data, engineering, operations, legal/privacy, and executive stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

  • Strong analytical orientation, including comfort defining measurement frameworks, interpreting funnel or engagement data, and translating insights into product decisions.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to synthesize complex technical and organizational issues into a clear point of view for senior audiences.

  • Proven ability to influence without formal authority and drive alignment across teams with competing incentives.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, fintech, insurance, or another regulated consumer category where trust, consent, privacy, and operational accuracy are central to the product experience.

  • Experience with CDP strategy, Snowflake-based segmentation, reverse ETL, data activation, or customer data infrastructure.

  • Experience with service communications, transactional communications, clinical engagement, care-management outreach, or member/patient engagement.

  • Experience working with engineering to build and maintain homegrown communication orchestration platform.

  • Experience building or integrating communication preference centers, consent systems, suppression logic, or notification-governance frameworks.

  • Empathy for members navigating health concerns and conviction that better communication can materially improve access, outcomes, and trust.
