Product Designer

Acclaim is building an omni-channel voice AI assistant for a leading fintech ecosystem. One platform — many surfaces, primarily and smart speaker. It understands speech and context, holds a conversation, and gets things done. At the core is agentic e-commerce for lifestyle scenarios: order groceries, book flights and cinema tickets, find something to watch — all by voice, with the bringing every result to the screen.

This is a greenfield 0→1 product. You'll be shaping the experience across every surface from day one.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design.
• Experience with Smart / launcher design.
• Consumer product experience - B2C, lifestyle, e-commerce, media, or travel.
• Principal-level autonomy - you take high-level inputs and run with them.
• Experience shipping in 0→1 products or fast-paced startup environments where speed and ambiguity are the norm.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving skills and design expertise.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in UX writing, conversational AI, or voice assistant design — you'll shape how the assistant communicates and sounds.
• Voice UI or audio-first interaction design.
• Mobile design experience (iOS / Android).
• Experience with user research and usability testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of the AI assistant experience across and mobile — covering interaction model, information architecture, visual language, and motion.
• Define interaction patterns for voice-first, agentic flows on a 10-foot screen: remote-driven navigation, no mouse, no keyboard.
• Collaborate with the Conversational UX Designer, product managers, ML engineers, and developers to deliver a working product within a tight timeline.
• Drive design direction independently — establish clarity in ambiguous situations rather than waiting for fully-formed briefs.
• Produce and maintain design documentation, prototypes, and developer handoff materials throughout the project lifecycle.
