Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity.
Own portfolio-level trust outcomes: Set strategic direction and drive a multi-year portfolio across Security, Compliance, GRC and Privacy, tying company priorities to clear executive decisions

Drive secure-by-default engineering: Lead initiatives to embed automated security controls, trusted AI-native SDLC, software supply chain defenses, and continuous vulnerability monitoring into developer workflows
Enable regulated market access: Drive technical readiness and authorizations to operate in regulated environments (such as FedRAMP and regional certifications) to meet market commitments
Turn ambiguity into clarity: Structure complex technical and governance challenges, establish effective decision forums, and align cross-functional leaders
Influence executive leadership: Partner closely with C-level executives, providing fact-based risk insights, escalating blockers, and driving critical decisions to closure
Establish durable mechanisms: Build scalable frameworks for risk prioritization, dependency management, compliance evidence pipelines, and security reviews
Measure impact and risk reduction: Define metrics to track security posture improvements, vulnerability reduction, audit readiness, and overall business value
