As a Principal Software Architect in the Microsoft Capacity Infrastructure Services organization, you will be responsible for leveraging AI/Copilot to evolve a platform and relevant tools which are used to expand Azure to new locations to quickly meet new and rapidly changing needs from customers, especially those related to AI, in a predictable, efficient, safe, and secure way. This opportunity will allow you to further develop your systems thinking, problem-solving, and system design skills, become adept at cooperating and collaborating with many teams to achieve shared goals, and learn, grow and innovate together with your teammates.

Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
