PMO Analyst (Communications)

Title: IT PMO Analyst / Strategic Communications and Reporting
Location: Remote (DC Metro Area Preferred)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive PMO Analyst to support the IT FIAR PMO team through effective communication, reporting, dashboard development, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination. This role will manage information flow across project teams and leadership to ensure stakeholders remain informed, aligned, and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Developing communication plans
• Preparing status reports and dashboards
• Facilitating governance meetings and workshops
• Maintaining project documentation
• Responding to internal and external DAF taskers
• Supporting tracking of notices of finding recommendations, NFRs, and CAPs
• Synthesizing inputs from SMEs across IT Audit, AI automation, and related teams
• Analyzing project data to identify risks, trends, and performance issues

A strong emphasis will be placed on:

• Strategic communications
• Deck building
• Power BI dashboard maintenance
• Attention to detail in reporting and escalation tracking

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance
• 5 years of experience
• PMP certification preferred
• DoD experience
• DAF experience preferred
• PMO or IT PMO support experience
• Experience with status reporting, dashboards, and milestone/risk/escalation tracking
• Experience supporting governance meetings and stakeholder coordination
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Experience with process improvement and automation using SharePoint, Power BI, MS Lists, and Power Automate
• Proficiency in Power BI preferred
• Proficiency in Excel preferred
• Advanced PowerPoint skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, especially for tracking NFRs and CAPs
