As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented Photo Editor to help ensure the imagery we produce consistently meets the highest standards of quality, creativity, and brand presentation.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our creative team. This role is ideal for an experienced photo editor who understands how professional imagery supports branding and marketing across both digital and print applications.

The Photo Editor will work remotely closely with our designers, marketers, and account teams to prepare, enhance, and manage photography for a wide range of client projects. From product and promotional photography to lifestyle imagery, advertising, websites, email campaigns, print collateral, and social media, you'll play an important role in bringing our clients' brands to life visually.

What You'll Do

• Edit and retouch product, lifestyle, promotional, and marketing photography for digital and print applications.
• Perform advanced color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, background removal, image cleanup, compositing, and detailed retouching.
• Prepare images for websites, email campaigns, social media, digital advertising, presentations, catalogs, brochures, direct mail, and other marketing materials.
• Retouch promotional product and branded merchandise photography while maintaining accurate colors, textures, proportions, and product details.
• Ensure images are properly prepared for both digital and high-quality print production.
• Work with designers to ensure photography integrates seamlessly into layouts and creative concepts.
• Maintain consistent visual quality, color, lighting, composition, and brand presentation across client projects.
• Prepare and optimize high-resolution files for offset and digital printing as well as web and digital applications.
• Review and proof image assets for accuracy and quality before final production.
• Organize, name, archive, and maintain digital image assets and working files according to established workflows.
• Help establish and improve photo-editing standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the creative and account teams to interpret project requirements and deliver imagery that meets client expectations.
• Stay current with evolving photography, retouching, color-management, and image-production techniques.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional photo editing, retouching, or image-production experience; agency, marketing, advertising, print, retail, or promotional-product experience is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
• Experience preparing imagery for both digital and print production.
• Strong understanding of RGB and CMYK workflows and print-ready file preparation.
• Experience with product photography, branded merchandise, lifestyle photography, and commercial marketing assets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for color, consistency, and visual quality.
• Ability to work efficiently across a high volume of projects while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong organizational and file-management skills.
• Ability to interpret creative direction and work collaboratively with graphic designers and marketing professionals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.

Compensation

$92,000–$113,000 per year, depending on experience.
