Payroll Systems Implementation Specialist

Position Summary

The Payroll & Systems Implementation Specialist provides expert guidance on payroll processes, compliance, and systems. This role ensures accurate payroll processing, supports system implementations, and advises on federal, state, and local regulatory compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process payroll for clients accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Maintain knowledge of payroll tax requirements, benefits deductions, and wage/hour regulations.
• Support implementation, migration, or optimization of payroll software.
• Advise clients on payroll best practices, policies, and compliance.
• Assist with year-end filings, including W-2s and 1099s.
• Train clients on payroll system functionality and reporting tools.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll records.
• Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
