Magee - Women's Hospital of UPMC is hiring a Casual Remote Patient Engagement Coordinator to support the Womens Health Service Line.

This position will work daylight shifts. Weekend availability is required to support the hours of operation.

Purpose:
The Patient Engagement Coordinator will plan and execute activities including: Enhance patient communication, improve patient flow, identify barriers and address patient experience issues. Work collaboratively with leadership team. This person will coordinate care between departments to ease flow and remove barriers to timely care. Development of literature as needed to close gaps in care, educational needs and patient satisfaction. The Patient Engagement Coordinator works closely with all disciplines to provide the optimal patient experience through care coordination.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Address daily operational barriers to promote optimal patient experience to retain patient loyalty.
  • Coordinate resources and development activities to meet project objectives both on time and on budget.
  • Create and execute Patient engagement plans to engage, educate and retain patients and support revenue and business goals.
  • Ensure coordination and clear communication among constituents on all activities.
  • Identify and detail appropriate activities that drive the patient experience and support retention.


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, business development, communication or equivalent education required.Three to five years experience in healthcare, marketing, customer service preferred.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently. Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative and ability to work independently. Ability to interface with all levels of management Good computer skills.
