Summary:
Responsible for the provision of routine patient accounting activity to facilitate efficient operations, expeditious reimbursement and optimal customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
* Performs all routine billing and collections activity to ensure account integrity and appropriate reimbursement.
* Resolves routine customer service issues and assists with questions on reimbursement.
* Participates in team-oriented process improvement initiatives.
* Demonstrates compliance with performance and quality standards.
* Demonstrates compliance with third party contracts, guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures.

WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 1 year healthcare or related experience required
* Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft financial and word processing programs required

EDUCATION
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
* HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred
