Synex Talent is seeking a Pathology Data Specialist to join our team in Northborough. This is a full-time, remote position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our staffing and recruiting operations within the healthcare and life sciences sector. As a Pathology Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing, curating, and analyzing pathology-related data to support our clients and internal teams.

In this associate-level role, you will work closely with recruiters, clients, and data teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of pathology data used in our talent placement processes. Your work will directly support our mission of connecting top-tier healthcare organizations with exceptional professionals. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 per year, along with a supportive remote work culture and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and maintain pathology data records from multiple sources
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all databases
• Perform data entry, validation, and quality checks on pathology-related information
• Collaborate with recruiters and clients to understand data requirements
• Generate reports and summaries based on pathology data analysis
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies or anomalies
• Support the development of data management processes and best practices
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
• Assist in the integration of new data sources and tools
• Provide data support for client presentations and internal decision-making
• Stay updated on industry trends and data management technologies
• Communicate effectively with remote team members and stakeholders

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in data management, life sciences, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in data entry, data analysis, or a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive data
• Proficiency with data management tools and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Basic understanding of pathology terminology or healthcare data is preferred
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues
• Familiarity with database systems and data entry software
• Preferred: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Preferred: Knowledge of HIPAA or other healthcare data privacy regulations
