The Partnership Development Lead will manage a team to secure high-value, long-term partnerships across corporate, media, and event streams. They are responsible for developing internal capabilities and delivering significant new income to support the organization's mission.
Partnership Development Lead.
Salary: £50,000 per annum.
Location: Remote (Home based in the UK with occasional travel to our London office).
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week.

A bit about the role
As Partnership Development Lead, you will lead a function that secures long term, high value, industry leading partnerships, raising money and awareness for Action for Children to include Corporate partnerships, Third party events, Gift in Kind partnerships and Media partnerships.
You'll help to create brighter futures by:
Work collaboratively across functions and services to devise and implement a vision and approach to Partnership development.
Engage colleagues, teams and key stakeholders to develop and build internal capabilities and infrastructure enable delivery of required outcomes.
Manage a team of 4.
Embed required ways of working to deliver new partnerships and income streams.
Deliver significant new income across varied income streams (strategic, sponsorship, CRM etc) with ambitious targets in the coming years.
Lead on the identification and securing of partnerships to develop and build long-term strategic relationships.
Build an extensive pipeline of new partnership opportunities (in conjunction with the dedicated prospect research specialist).
Work collaboratively with internal teams on development of tailored partnership propositions.
Build networks with key decision makers and influencers within prospective partners and the wider commercial sector.
Let's talk about you
Extensive experience of leading new business teams in the charity sector.
Extensive experience of securing high value partnerships in either a charity or commercial sales environment.
Proven experience of building long term effective relationships with high level individual stakeholders.
Experience of securing income from multiple income streams, utilising commercial expertise to create new and cutting-edge opportunities.
Experience of setting, managing and monitoring complex budgets and to track, analyse and report against results.
Experience of motivating and managing teams.
Excellent understanding of, and empathy with, the motivations of current and potential donors, supporters and volunteers.
Excellent interpersonal skills, to build and influence relationships, with a confidence with your team, colleagues and volunteers and to inspire others to achieve.
