The role...

We are seeking a full-time Partner Success Executive (PSE) to join our growing Partner Success team, reporting directly to our Vice President of Partner Success. This role sits at the intersection of partner success, strategy, engagement, and growth and is ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment and enjoys building strong relationships with college and university partners.


As a PSE, you will serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of partner institutions, helping partners successfully launch, engage, adopt, and grow their Knack programs. You will build trusted relationships with campus stakeholders, support retention and expansion efforts, use data to identify opportunities, and connect Knack’s work to partner goals and student success priorities.


You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Academic Relations to deliver a cohesive partner experience and drive successful outcomes.

This is an individual contributor role for someone who is ready to take ownership of partner relationships, contribute to growth, and develop their skills in strategic partnership management.

What you get to do...

  • Manage a strategic portfolio of 10–20 college and university partners, building strong relationships and developing engagement strategies that support partner success.
  • Build trusted relationships with campus stakeholders through regular meetings, strategic touchpoints, and proactive communication.
  • Develop and execute partner engagement plans aligned to institutional priorities and Knack’s partnership goals.
  • Support successful partner launches, ongoing engagement, program adoption, and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead renewal activities and partner retention efforts, helping partners understand and realize the value of their Knack partnership.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, including expansions, upsells, referrals, and additional stakeholder adoption, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to pursue them.
  • Conduct regular program reviews and strategic conversations to assess progress, identify challenges, and uncover opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Leverage partner data and insights to provide clear, actionable recommendations that strengthen program performance, engagement, and impact.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Academic Relations to ensure a seamless partner experience and alignment across the partner lifecycle.
  • Partner with internal teams to increase program visibility, stakeholder engagement, and campus adoption.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, process improvements, and strategic initiatives that strengthen the Partner Success organization.
  • Travel as needed to support partner engagement, relationship development, and growth opportunities.

  • You have 4-6+ years of experience in higher education, sales, account management, customer success, program management, or partnership management. EdTech experience is a plus.
  • You are passionate about education and student success and excited by the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
  • You excel at building relationships and are comfortable engaging with a range of campus stakeholders.
  • You are proactive, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership and make an impact.
  • You have experience managing relationships, projects, accounts, or programs and are comfortable balancing multiple priorities.
  • You enjoy working with data and can translate insights into clear recommendations and next steps.
  • You are comfortable identifying opportunities for partner growth and collaborating with internal teams to pursue them.
  • You thrive in collaborative environments and are equally comfortable contributing to a team and taking the lead when needed.
  • You are willing to travel as needed to support partner engagement and growth opportunities.
  • You value teamwork, mission-driven work, accessibility, and supporting student success.
