SteadyState Work Partners | Austin/Central Texas
Part-Time | Assignment-Based | $21/hour

What We Do

SteadyState Work Partners is a human capital consulting firm specializing in human capital risk mitigation.

We work with organizations when a valuable person's Heat-of-the-Moment actions or inaction are creating business consequences—and knowing better hasn't been enough to stop it.

Our proprietary TAU Core™ intervention develops the I Caught Myself Reflex™: the ability to interrupt an automatic reaction before it becomes consequential action or inaction.

The Role

The Participant Success Coordinator is the participant's consistent point of contact from the beginning of a SteadyState engagement through completion.

A participant may interact with different SteadyState professionals as they move through Preparation/Observation, TAU Core™ field delivery, and, when applicable, the six-week TAU Plus™ integration period.

You remain.

You are the person the participant knows they can contact. You make sure they know what happens next, have what they need, complete required administrative steps, and experience transitions between people and phases as seamless and well coordinated.

Your job is to make the SteadyState experience feel smooth, clear, and effortless for the participant—even when significant coordination is happening behind the scenes.

Core Responsibilities

Before TAU Core™

  • Welcome participants and establish yourself as their primary SteadyState contact.

  • Coordinate participant onboarding.

  • Schedule required participant activities and appointments.

  • Ensure required forms, waivers, and administrative requirements are completed.

  • Provide logistical information and answer participant questions.

  • Track participant progress through required pre-engagement steps.

  • Follow up on incomplete items without creating unnecessary friction.

  • Coordinate participant readiness information with the appropriate SteadyState team members.

  • Make sure each participant knows what happens next and who they will be working with.

During TAU Core™

  • Remain the participant's primary administrative contact throughout the engagement.

  • Provide scheduling, logistical, and participant support.

  • Communicate changes or information participants need to know.

  • Coordinate participant-facing communication across facilitators, operations, and other SteadyState personnel.

  • Follow up when participant action is required.

  • Resolve administrative issues or route them to the appropriate person.

  • Maintain accurate participant records and engagement status.

After TAU Core™

  • Coordinate completion of required post-Core administrative steps.

  • Ensure participants receive the information and follow-up appropriate to their engagement.

  • Close participant records when the SteadyState engagement ends after Core.

  • Coordinate the transition into TAU Plus™ when applicable.

During TAU Plus™

For participants continuing into TAU Plus™, you remain their SteadyState contact throughout the six-week integration period.

You will:

  • Coordinate scheduling and participant communication.

  • Support transitions between SteadyState professionals involved in the engagement.

  • Track required participant activities and follow-up.

  • Make sure participants know what is happening and what comes next.

  • Resolve administrative or logistical issues and connect participants with the appropriate SteadyState professional when needed.

  • Maintain participant records through completion.

  • Coordinate final engagement closeout.

The Handoffs Are Yours, Not Theirs

Participants should not have to figure out SteadyState's internal organization.

They should not have to wonder:

  • Who do I contact now?

  • Who is handling this?

  • Did the next person get what they need?

  • Was I supposed to schedule something?

  • What happens next?

You manage those transitions.

The participant should experience one continuous SteadyState relationship, even when several people are working behind it.

What You Will Not Do

You will not:

  • Facilitate TAU Core™.

  • Deliver the intervention.

  • Provide coaching, counseling, or therapy.

  • Interpret participant experiences or reactions.

  • Provide clinical guidance.

  • Perform the work assigned to facilitators or other specialists.

  • Make readiness or safety decisions outside your assigned authority.

When a participant needs something outside your role, you do not guess or improvise.

You make sure they reach the right person.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and absolute discretion in a high-trust environment is a must (non-negotiable)

  • Experience in client service, participant support, customer success, program coordination, executive support, healthcare coordination, education administration, professional services, or similar work.

  • Strong organization and follow-through.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to manage multiple participants, deadlines, appointments, and required actions without losing details.

  • Ability to anticipate what someone will need before they have to ask.

  • Strong judgment about when to resolve something independently and when to escalate it.

  • Ability to communicate clearly without overwhelming people with unnecessary information.

  • Comfortable interacting professionally with participants, organizational clients, and SteadyState personnel.

  • Ability to learn and consistently follow SteadyState systems and participant processes.

  • Reliable access to the technology required for remote participant communication and administrative work.

Preferred Backgrounds

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Customer or client success

  • Participant or member services

  • Program coordination

  • Professional services

  • Executive support

  • Client onboarding

  • Learning or development programs

  • Healthcare or patient coordination

  • Education administration

  • High-touch client service

Ideal Candidate

You are:

  • Warm.

  • Organized.

  • Reliable.

  • Responsive.

  • Discreet.

  • Attentive to detail.

  • Comfortable following through more than once.

  • Good at remembering where people are in a process.

  • Able to communicate without creating unnecessary complexity.

  • Able to anticipate gaps before they become participant problems.

  • Comfortable working behind the scenes without needing to be the center of the experience.

You understand that a participant should not have to work hard to navigate the company serving them.

You make complicated coordination feel simple.

Compensation & Assignment Structure

This is a part-time, assignment-based position supporting scheduled SteadyState engagements.

Compensation: $21 per hour.

Hours vary based on participant volume, engagement type, and whether participants continue from TAU Core™ into TAU Plus™.

Assignments may include participant onboarding, scheduling, communication, administrative coordination, records management, follow-up, transition support, and engagement closeout.

Where You Will Work

This role is primarily remote.

Participant Success Coordinators support participants electronically and by phone or video as required by the engagement. Some Austin/Central Texas meetings or activities may be required.

Selection Process

Qualified candidates may be invited to:

  1. An Initial Conversation.

  2. A structured interview focused on participant service, judgment, organization, communication, and follow-through.

  3. A work-based assessment involving a realistic participant-coordination situation.

Selected candidates must successfully complete required employment screening and SteadyState onboarding before assignment.

The Standard

The participant should never have to become the integration layer for SteadyState.

People may change. Phases may change. The work may change.

You are the person who stays with them from beginning to end—and makes everything around them connect.
