Vermont State University School of Health Professions Radiologic Sciences Program invites motivated applicants whose teaching responsibilities will be in the associate degree radiography program. We are seeking a Part-Time instructor specializing in Imaging, Radiation Biology, and Registry Review.

This teaching position starts in Fall 2026 (August 24 - December 18, 2026) for RAD-2230 Radiographic Pathology. This course is an online course with 3 teaching workload credits.

This course provides a survey of the disease process and pathological conditions and presents an in-depth study of diseases commonly demonstrated radiographically.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Teaching didactic course (s) in an online setting,
  • Develop and facilitate instructional units and assessment of students' learning;
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students;
  • Use of course management system (Canvas);
  • Provide regular and timely feedback to students and assist students by appointment;
  • Advise students in matters related to academics, attendance, and behaviors;
  • Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies;

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current ARRT® certification and registration in Radiography (R).
  • The ideal candidate will be multi-credentialed in radiography and computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR), and/or mammography (M);
  • Current State of Vermont Radiographer license;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the profession;
  • Prior experience in teaching at the college level and proficient use of an online course management system is preferred.

Salary:

  • Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
  • Budgeted Wage for this position: $1,648.00 per teaching workload credit.
