Role Description
This is a remote, part-time, entry-level Customer Care Associate role. You'll handle day-to-day customer support for patients, clinics, and providers — answering questions, resolving inquiries, and troubleshooting basic device issues to ensure a smooth, positive experience. It's a great fit for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to healthcare technology while making a real difference in patients' lives.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, clinics, and providers by phone and email
- Answer questions about basic device setup and handling
- Contact patients to troubleshoot device disconnections, ensuring continuous, high-quality monitoring
- Coordinate device returns and replacements as needed
- Document customer interactions accurately and escalate clinical or technical questions to the appropriate team
- Follow up to confirm issues are fully resolved and customers are satisfied
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, HIPAA and patient-privacy requirements, and internal procedures
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Strong customer-service orientation with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new software tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week — five 6-hour midday shifts in Central Time. Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays are required.
Training: Two weeks of remote training, Monday through Friday
