The Paralegal is a key partner in the Legal Department at FCA, providing critical support to a lean team. This role contributes to FCA's in-house team through substantive legal, administrative, and operational assistance. Success in this position requires strong initiative, deep attention to detail, and stellar communication skills to support the Legal
Department's role in advancing FCA's mission to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.  

The Paralegal role reports to FCA's Legal Counsel and may either be based in FCA's office in Kansas City, Missouri or be fully remote. The role is a ministerial position and requires that you agree with and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement, provide spiritual leadership, and conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct. 

MINISTERIAL DUTIES

• Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for FCA.
• Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others.
• Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
• Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times.
