About the Role

As a Paid Social Strategist, you use your expert, up-to-date grasp of marketing strategies and best practices to manage campaigns from concept to execution to analysis. You will work collaboratively with account stakeholders (from the Paid Social Specialist, Manager, Director of Strategy, Account Manager, and Director of Advertising) to ensure a powerful marketing strategy is deployed using your expert Paid Social knowledge.

You are responsible for budgeting your accounts and identifying optimizations that will help track towards your clients' goals. You will work with the Paid Social Specialist on your accounts to ensure campaigns, audiences, creatives and ad sets are being created, while applying account learnings to each.

You are also the Paid Social SME on client calls, owning all things Paid Social. Lastly, you work closely with account stakeholders to ensure we are track for our client's goals and looking holistically at our metrics

 

What to Expect (First 30 Days)

  • Learn Blue Wheel's culture, processes, tools, and approach to performance marketing.
  • Build relationships with your Paid Social team members, Client Services partners, and account stakeholders.
  • Complete onboarding and platform training across Meta Ads Manager and other social advertising platforms.
  • Gain a deep understanding of your assigned clients' businesses, goals, KPIs, audiences, and current campaign strategies.
  • Observe internal and client-facing meetings to understand account dynamics, priorities, and communication styles.
  • Begin managing campaign budgets, pacing, and performance reporting with guidance from your team.
  • Collaborate with Paid Social Specialists on campaign builds, audience creation, ad launches, and optimizations.
  • Develop and launch ad creative and campaign initiatives informed by account insights and historical performance.
  • Start contributing optimization recommendations and strategic ideas to support client goals.
  • Transition into serving as a trusted paid social resource for your assigned accounts.

By the end of your first 30 days, you'll have a strong understanding of your clients, actively contribute to campaign strategy and execution, and begin taking ownership of performance-driven initiatives that support client growth.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years + experience running paid social campaigns, with proven results within the e-commerce space
  • 1 years + experience in an agency environment preferred
  • Experience running TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn campaigns preferred
  • Must have experience in the Facebook Ads Manager platform and be able to build campaigns, audiences, ad sets, and ads
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft or G-Suite tools preferred
