Summary of Position
The Paid Social Creative Editor at Teladoc Health is part of the Paid Social Creative Team. This role focuses on creating high-performing, social-native content for paid media channels. It is a hybrid position that combines video editing, motion design, and graphic design, with a strong emphasis on editorial execution.
The ideal candidate is energized by social-native content production, brings a genuine feel for what’s working on the feed, and wants creative ownership. They’ll contribute ideas from the earliest stages of projects and take work from concept through to final asset.
Essential Duties
• Edit and assemble paid social video content using existing assets, including UGC, creator content, and brand materials.
• Apply motion graphics, text treatments, sound, and transitions to enhance performance and engagement.
• Design static assets and variations for paid social campaigns when required.
• Contribute ideas and creative concepts from the early stages of projects, collaborating with the creative team.
• Ensure all content aligns with platform best practices for channels such as Meta, TikTok, and other paid placements.
• Stay up to date on social trends, including formats, text styles, sound design, and platform-native behaviors.
• Support the production of multiple content variations optimized for testing and performance.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while adapting creative to social-first formats.
• Execute revisions and edits based on feedback from stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
• 2–4 years of experience in video editing, motion design, graphic design, or social-native content roles.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (primary editing tool).
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation layering.
• Experience with Figma for static design, asset creation, and collaboration.
• Understanding of paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.) including formats, specifications, and best practices.
• Genuine awareness of what’s trending on social—text treatments, sound, transitions, formats—and the instinct to bring those observations into the work.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and performance-oriented content creation.
• High level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with UGC-style or lo-fi content formats.
• Familiarity with direct response or performance-driven paid social campaigns.
• Exposure to AI generative tools (e.g., Runway, Higgsfield, Midjourney) to support ideation and production workflows.
• Experience using AI tools for production efficiency (e.g., auto-captioning, background removal, upscaling).
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio showcasing paid social content, editing work, and motion graphics.
