What you’ll do:
Review hospital medical records and properly assign relevant ICD-10-CM diagnoses according to Official Coding Guidelines for OP/Ancillary encounters including Lab, Radiology (CT, MRI, PET, Ultrasound, Mammograms, Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Neurodiagnostic, Pain Management, Wound Care, OB Assessments
Meet or exceed high quality and productivity standards, to provide exceptional coding services to our clients
Communicate and collaborate with outpatient coders and managers to address the dynamic needs of our clients
Keep active coding certifications and complete continuing education to maintain expertise
What you’ll need:
Current CCS, RHIA, RHIT through AHIMA or CPC through AAPC coding credentials are required
3 or more years of relevant facility coding experience
Access to reliable high-speed internet and workstation.
Epic experience is a plus
Candidates must reside within the United States
