CTG is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant to lead Oracle Cloud ERP Financials implementations for enterprise clients across the United States. In this highly visible consulting role, you'll serve as the functional lead for Oracle Cloud Financials, partnering with business stakeholders to design, configure, and deploy scalable financial solutions.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Oracle Cloud consultant who enjoys leading client workshops, solving complex business challenges, and driving successful ERP transformations.

Duration: 12 months

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead Oracle Cloud ERP Financials implementation workstreams from requirements gathering through production deployment.
  • Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Expenses
    • Tax
    • Collections
    • Fixed Assets (FA)
    • Cash Management (CM)
  • Lead Chart of Accounts design and redesign initiatives, including financial reporting, month-end close, and year-end close processes.
  • Conduct client workshops to gather business requirements and recommend Oracle Cloud best practices.
  • Analyze business processes and perform gap analyses between business requirements and Oracle Cloud functionality.
  • Configure Oracle Cloud Financials applications to support client business processes.
  • Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation for technical development.
  • Support financial data conversion and migration from legacy ERP systems.
  • Develop testing strategies, test scenarios, and test scripts for unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Coordinate testing activities and validate successful deployment.
  • Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, offshore resources, and client stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Required Skills

  • Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Tax, Collections, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience designing Chart of Accounts structures and financial reporting solutions.
  • Oracle Cloud Financials configuration expertise.
  • Business process analysis and solution design experience.
  • Functional design documentation and technical specification development.
  • Financial data conversion and migration experience.
  • Strong testing, validation, and deployment planning skills.
  • Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional project teams.
  • Experience with Budgetary Controls, Encumbrance Accounting, Oracle SCM, or Project Portfolio Management is a plus.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of Oracle ERP implementation experience.
  • Experience leading at least two full lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP Financials implementations as a Functional Lead or Module Lead.
  • Proven experience in business process consulting, requirements gathering, solution design, system integration testing, user training, and production deployment.
  • Consulting experience supporting enterprise Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%–35% within the United States based on project requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00 to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
