Artificial intelligence has moved from a software trend to essential industry infrastructure touching every part of the operating model – from strategy to talent to technology and governance, and Opmodi is the credit union movement’s answer to that shift. We are the AI Center of Excellence founded by and built specifically for credit unions: a trusted guide creating a future where credit unions don’t just survive the AI transformation but thrive through it.
We offer a comprehensive suite of services to meet credit unions where they are — and move them forward. From understanding AI, to evaluating it safely, to realizing its value with confidence. The result: credit unions that can move faster, at a lower cost, and with reduced risk — while protecting and deepening the member relationships that make this industry unlike any other.
We aren’t starting from zero; we are already embedded with credit union clients and scaling. This team is closing the AI gap among credit unions and defining what responsible, sustainable, human-centered AI looks like for one of the most purpose-driven industries in the world.
Position Summary
The Workforce Enablement & Education Director leads Opmodi’s Workforce Enablement & Education Practice and is the strategic, human-centered authority credit unions turn to when they need their people—not just their systems—ready for AI. This is not a back-office training role; it is a market-facing, credibility-defining role that calls for deep AI fluency, adult-learning and change-management expertise, consulting acumen, and a genuine passion for the credit union movement.
Most of the value of AI comes from the people side—trust, workflow change, and adoption. This individual will own how Opmodi builds AI literacy, confidence, and capability across a credit union’s entire workforce, from the boardroom to the front line, so employees can both use AI and supervise it responsibly.
This is a remote position with travel up to 25% for board/executive level presentations, client engagements, and industry events.

- Is deeply curious about AI, fintech trends, regulation, and the evolving credit union landscape.
- Is detail-oriented; deeply understands the importance of “polish,” defensibility, and tailoring for the audience.
- Is coachable, resilient, and invested in their own professional development and that of the organization.
