About the role - Community Operations Associate

As a member of our community operations team, working closely with our Community Operations Manager, you’ll play an integral role in helping our community thrive on VGen. Your role will be multifaceted and include a mix of the following core responsibilities on a rotating basis:

  • User Support: Responding to support tickets on Zendesk, while collecting user feedback to help improve the platform

  • Mediation: Addressing advanced support tickets by helping to resolve disputes between artists and clients

  • Moderation: Engaging in on-site content moderation for scams, AI, tracing, etc.; includes reviewing user-submitted reports

  • Artist Verifications: Reviewing artist verification applications to promote qualified artists

  • Weekly Applications: Assess applications to onboard new artists onto the platform

You will be a key member of our small team that is dedicated to empowering and protecting human creativity!

Who you are

  • 1+ year of experience in customer support or a similar customer-facing role

  • Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to practice objective empathy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to distinguish between AI and human-made art

  • An eye for digital art / content

  • Comfortable with high volumes of repetitive tasks

  • Proactive self-starter who can excel working independently and as part of a hybrid team

  • Ready to hit the ground running and make an impact in your first week

  • Artist background and experience offering commission services

  • Prefer Discord over Slack

  • Previous experience working in a startup environment

  • Proficient in multiple languages
