The Onboarding Concierge manages the transition of new clinical providers from applicant to employee by overseeing the credentialing and onboarding process. They collaborate with HR and operations teams to ensure accurate start dates and maintain consistent communication with candidates and facility leaders.
Role Overview
Summary/Objective: Responsible for the overall customer service and support of new clinical providers to join NorthStar Anesthesia. Their main task oversees the transition from applicant to employee.
***This position can be performed from anywhere within the United States. Candidates must have reliable internet access and be able to work effectively in a virtual environment. Work site attendance may be required from time to time in accordance with business conditions.
Essential Functions:
- Assists providers in providing support and direction to the new hire during the credentialing and onboarding process
- Assists with new hire paperwork to ensure timely completion
- Responds to communication in a manner that provides added value and generates significant customer satisfaction
- Rapidly establishes a positive working relationship with the providers
- Works in tandem with the Human Resources Department to manage provider expectations and ensure both departments have all information necessary for a smooth transition.
- Works continuously on tasks until completion
- Identifies problem areas, devises and delivers solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems
- Communicates with facility leaders regarding new hire providers status on a weekly basis
- Attends weekly triad meetings for all facilities
- Analyzes, organizes and communicates provider feedback that delivers solutions, adds value, and enhances quality of service to prevent future problems.
- Alerts responsible team members when contracts, drug tests, background checks, etc. are not yet complete in the onboarding process so they can follow up with the new hire
- Creates a positive candidate experience for new hires
Key Deliverables:
- Provides clinical provider updates to the Corporate team on a weekly basis
- Confirms clinical new hire start dates for the pay period to the team on a weekly basis
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice
- Work closely with Ops, HR, and hiring manager to ensure start dates are accurate.
- Keeps constant communication with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers to ensure timely completion of all required steps of the hiring and credentialing process.
- Provides guidance to leaders on processes and procedures related to pre-hire/new hire documents.
- Oversees the transition from applicant to employee.
- Promotes NorthStar Anesthesia’s Core Values.
- Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field strongly preferred.
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
- Workday and ICIMS experience a plus.
- 1+ years’ experience in high volume recruiting, front line customer services, or similar Human Resources experience.
