Leads daily nursing operations by prioritizing patient assignments, sequencing care activities, and removing barriers to maintain safe, timely, and high-quality care delivery.
Reviews patient assessments, plans of care, medications, treatments, and clinical responses to ensure appropriate intervention and timely escalation of changing conditions.
Facilitates coordination with physicians, pharmacists, therapists, caregivers, and other care partners to align care plans, transitions, and patient education needs.
Troubleshoots recurring care delivery, documentation, and workflow issues by evaluating clinical and operational patterns, implementing approved changes, and verifying impact on quality and cycle time.
Mentors junior nursing staff and guides cross-training, standard work adoption, and first-line issue resolution to strengthen coverage, consistency, and readiness during peaks or absences.
Ensures timely identification, documentation, and escalation of patient safety, medication, and compliance concerns in accordance with clinical standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Ensures complete, accurate, and audit-ready clinical documentation, records, and reconciliations that support continuity of are, quality oversight, and regulatory readiness.
Bachelor's degree in nursing, pharmacy, healthcare, business administration, supply chain management, operations management, program management, computer science, information systems, industrial engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
2+ years of experience in nursing, clinical patient care, acute care, inpatient or ambulatory care, care coordination, pediatric nursing, or a related field required.
Licensure as a registered nurse or professional nurse required. Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, or equivalent preferred.
