CDL Nuclear Technologies is seeking an experienced Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) to support the continued growth of our CardioNavix and Cardiac PET programs across the United States.

This is not a traditional Nuclear Medicine Technologist position.

We are looking for a highly experienced Cardiac PET clinical expert who enjoys educating clinicians, training technologists, supporting startup sites, solving technical challenges, and serving as a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations implementing advanced cardiac imaging programs.

As a Clinical Applications Specialist, you will work directly with customers, physicians, technologists, vendors, and CDL leadership to ensure successful implementation, training, quality assurance, and ongoing clinical excellence for our Cardiac PET facilities. You will play a critical role in helping hospitals, health systems, and cardiology practices successfully launch and operate advanced Cardiac PET imaging programs utilizing the CardioNavix platform.

🚀 What You'll Do

🏥 Clinical Site Startups & Program Launches

• Lead and support Cardiac PET laboratory implementations across new customer sites
• Assist customers through the entire startup process, from pre-launch planning through go-live
• Coordinate with administrators, physicians, technologists, nurses, vendors, and CDL leadership during implementations
• Help establish efficient workflows, imaging protocols, and operational best practices
• Ensure successful adoption of CardioNavix equipment and processes at customer facilities

🎓 Training & Clinical Education

• Train nuclear medicine technologists, physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare personnel
• Conduct applications training for Cardiac PET imaging systems and software
• Support clinical competency development and ongoing education programs
• Assist in onboarding and mentoring new CDL personnel
• Ensure training programs meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements

⚙️ Clinical & Technical Subject Matter Expertise

• Serve as a clinical expert for Cardiac PET imaging and Rb-82 infusion system operations
• Resolve clinical, operational, and technical issues at customer sites
• Support clinical protocols, workflow development, and quality assurance initiatives
• Assist with equipment-related troubleshooting and vendor coordination
• Provide expert guidance on Cardiac PET imaging best practices and patient care standards

☢️ Radiation Safety & Compliance

• Support compliance with ALARA principles and radiation safety requirements
• Review site documentation and operational processes
• Assist with transportation and hub-related radiation safety activities
• Participate in customer site audits, assessments, and compliance reviews
• Ensure clinical operations align with regulatory and company standards 

🤝 Customer Success & Relationship Management

• Serve as a trusted clinical partner to physicians, technologists, and healthcare leaders
• Routinely visit customer locations to support ongoing clinical excellence
• Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide regular updates to management regarding site performance and client needs
• Support long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and partnership

✅ Required Qualifications

✔ Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine

✔ NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) Certification

✔ Minimum of four years of Nuclear Cardiology and/or Cardiac PET experience

✔ Demonstrated expertise in:

• Cardiac PET imaging
• Nuclear cardiology protocols
• Clinical workflow optimization
• Patient care and clinical operations

✔ Strong presentation, communication, and training abilities

✔ Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and customer relationships

✔ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

✔ Professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to remain composed during challenging situations

✔ Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout assigned regions and nationally when needed 

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac PET startup experience
• Clinical applications experience
• Experience training physicians and technologists
• OEM or third-party PET software experience
• BRACCO 510 or 1700 experience
• Experience supporting multi-site healthcare organizations
• Experience with customer-facing clinical support roles
• Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience supporting mobile or fixed Cardiac PET programs
