Description

The NDG Senior Account Management Specialist is a key contributor within the NDG Account Management organization, responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience through operational excellence. This role manages complex activities, ensures accuracy and compliance, and acts as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders. As a senior-level specialist, you will proactively identify solutions, mitigate risk, and continuously improve processes to enhance the client experience. Success in this role requires strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client operational needs, delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality support
  • Execute complex account activities, including but not limited to:
    • Account openings and onboarding
    • Maintenance (signer updates, account holds, closures)
    • CD renewals and servicing
  • Gather, review, and validate client documentation to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements (including CIP and Beneficial Ownership)
  • Partner with Account Managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support client objectives
  • Identify, escalate, and help mitigate potential risks or adverse situations impacting clients or the bank
  • Investigate and resolve complex g issues using sound judgment, available resources, and established procedures
  • Collaborate with downstream operational partners to drive issue resolution and improve process efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and third-party partners
  • Participate in client calls, meetings, and events as needed to support account management efforts
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process enhancements, cross-training, and project participation
  • Support Tier 1 request activities as needed, ensuring seamless coverage for routine client requests
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related client service environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial banking, including HOA, Escrow, or NIL servicing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex servicing scenarios and client interactions
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree

Compensation Range:

$125,000.00 - $255,000.00 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
