Title: National Director of LOVB Camp & Clinic Programming
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Remote (U.S.-based) with occasional travel for site visits and business-related events
Job Level & Type: Level 5, Individual Contributor
Job Summary:
The National Director of LOVB Camp & Clinic Programming will lead the scaling and expansion of camp and clinic opportunities across the LOVB ecosystem. This role will help execute the strategic plan for camp and clinic operations and programming at LOVB Clubs and nationally outside of LOVB Clubs. You will support the development, optimization of club-run and LOVB-run programming, and potential acquisitions while driving growth across the LOVB ecosystem. The role will ensure programs align with LOVB's mission to elevate the sport and deliver exceptional experiences for players, parents, clubs, and coaches.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the national camps and clinics business strategy.
Build a comprehensive camp and clinic business plan and best-practice playbook for LOVB Clubs, including program types, execution, staffing, fees, and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with Regional Club Leaders (RCLs) to develop and implement repeatable annual camp and clinic strategies at LOVB Clubs.
Build and maintain relationships across the volleyball ecosystem, including LOVB Clubs, LOVB Pro, USAV, JVA, AAU, camp operators, high school coaches, and municipalities.
Manage and build new national camps and clinics for girls, boys, and adults, with a focus on program performance, profitability, and participant experience.
Integrate camp opportunities into the existing LOVB Youth Tournaments & Events (LYTE) business and develop programming that appeals to multiple levels of play.
Partner with Technology to support registration systems, dashboards, and reporting for camps and clinics.
Partner with Marketing to develop customer acquisition, registration pacing, and cross-selling strategies across LOVB clubs, tournaments, leagues, and communities.
Set and manage sales and expense goals aligned with LYTE and LOVB objectives.
Establish and track KPIs for event growth, retention, satisfaction, and marketing effectiveness.
Analyze registration conversion and program performance to identify opportunities for improvement and future growth.
Ensure programs deliver exceptional experiences that strengthen long-term participant, club, and team loyalty.
Partner with Marketing, Finance, Technology, Legal, People Success, Partnerships, Club and Tournament Recruiting, and other teams to successfully operate and scale the business.
Lead with transparency, collaboration, and accountability while supporting a culture of operational excellence, creativity, and service.
Build alignment across internal teams and external partners to support successful program planning and execution.
Maintain strong relationships across the volleyball ecosystem to support the continued growth of LOVB camps and clinics.
Required & Preferred Skills/Abilities:
3+ years of experience in large-scale camp management, event operations, or business development.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships across the youth volleyball ecosystem, including clubs, coaches, governing bodies, and event operators.
Proven success building or scaling event portfolios.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L ownership.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Deep understanding of the youth and adult volleyball landscape.
Passion for LOVB's mission to grow and professionalize volleyball in the U.S.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience preferred.
Experience in volleyball, youth sports, camps, clinics, or event programming preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements (Remote):
Ability to operate a computer and use a keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools.

Occasional travel may be required for site visits and events.
