What you will be doing:

We are hiring mid-career Data Engineers to build and support data pipelines, notebooks, and models within Microsoft Fabric. L1 engineers will execute well-defined tasks, learn quickly, and grow into owning stories with guidance. Strong emphasis on PySpark, KQL, and foundational SQL.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–3 years in data engineering or analytics engineering.

• Practical exposure to PySpark and Python notebooks.

• Foundational KQL and willingness to deepen expertise quickly.

• Solid SQL fundamentals.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or strong motivation to ramp; exposure to cloud data platforms.

• Experience with git and VS Code/Visual Studio.

• Agile team experience; strong communication and teamwork.

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Exposure to Data Vault and star schema design.

• Experience with Power BI datasets, data modeling, and visualization basics.

• Familiarity with Tabular Editor; interest in C# scripting.

• Experience with Dataflows and pipeline orchestration.

• CI/CD exposure in Azure DevOps or GitHub.
