About the Role:
The Metadata & Data Governance Analyst supports the consistent application of metadata standards and data governance practices across S&I knowledge and data systems, with primary focus on Document Management Systems (M‑Files) and support for GenAI (Genie) and other AI-enabled initiatives.
The role contributes to the operationalization of the S&I data strategy by executing governance activities, supporting audits, and assisting in resolving metadata and content issues. Through direct user support and structured execution of governance processes, the role helps improve data consistency, usability, and readiness for AI and modeling use cases while supporting the broader Knowledge Management program.
Accountabilities:
Support metadata governance across M‑Files
Support data governance adherence across systems and teams
Support data readiness for AI and digital initiatives
Provide user support and contribute to adoption of governance practices
Own external research acquisition and content ingestion
Manage Document governance workflows

Tate & Lyle complies with all local/state regulations requiring salary range transparency. When determining final compensation, we take into consideration: skillset, job scope, knowledge, prior experience, cost of living, market data, budget availability, and other factors as permitted by law.
The salary range for this position is: $71,000 - $104,000.
