Marketing & Range Assistant

Position Summary

The Marketing & Range Assistant provides day-to-day administrative and execution support across Marketing, Product and Range activities. The role is responsible for completing assigned tasks accurately and on time, following established processes, marketing calendars, templates and brand guidelines. This is a hands-on support role and does not require responsibility for developing marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Email Marketing

• Build, format and schedule eDMs using the existing marketing calendar and templates.
• Add approved copy, images, links and products to eDMs.
• Check eDMs for accuracy, formatting, spelling and links before scheduling.
• Make updates to existing email campaigns and templates as instructed.
• Update and maintain automated email flows in Dotdigital.
• Follow existing processes and brand guidelines when creating email communications.

Social Media

• Prepare and schedule social media posts in line with the approved marketing calendar.
• Use approved content and create engaging captions in line with the relevant brand voice.
• Upload images, videos and other approved content.
• Check posts for accuracy before scheduling.
• Make updates to scheduled posts as required.

Website Merchandising

• Update and merchandise the website as directed.
• Upload and update products, images, banners and promotional content.
• Update product information, pricing and other website content as required.
• Ensure products and content are displayed accurately.
• Check website pages and promotions for errors.
• Complete website updates in line with the marketing calendar.

Range & Production Administration

• Maintain and update range documents and Excel spreadsheets.
• Take ownership of keeping range information accurate and up to date.
• Assist with the preparation of seasonal range information.
• Prepare and maintain the new season's Homyped Range Book.
• Assist with seasonal catalogue set-up and preparation.
• Work with the Marketing and Graphic Design teams on Homyped projects as required.
• Assist with organising and maintaining product and range information.
• Update spreadsheets and product information as instructed.
• Provide general administrative support to the Production and Range functions.
• Complete ad-hoc administration and other tasks as required by the business.

Skills & Experience

• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Good written English and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, processes and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assigned tasks.
• Previous experience in marketing administration, e-commerce, product administration or a similar support role.
• Experience with email marketing platforms, preferably Dotdigital.
• Experience with social media scheduling.
• Experience with website content management or e-commerce platforms.
• Experience working in retail, footwear, fashion or product manufacturing would be highly regarded.
