AI Summary

Own the data integrity, automation layer, and HubSpot instance for the marketing function, focusing on lead lifecycle and attribution. Partner with Demand Gen and RevOps to operationalize campaigns, manage email deliverability, and report on sales/marketing SLAs.

Unstructured is defining the standard for enterprise data transformation in the age of LLMs and generative AI. In just two years, we've raised over $65M from world-class investors, including Menlo Ventures, Bain Capital, Databricks, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and IBM.

Our open-source toolkit has been downloaded 61M+ times and is used by 90% of the Fortune 1000. We power production AI workflows across commercial and federal sectors — transforming PDFs, HTML, Word docs, images, emails, and more into AI-ready data pipelines that scale.

We're not just building tools, we're building the backbone of generative AI and the infrastructure that unlocks intelligence across industries.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to own the data integrity and automation layer of Unstructured’s marketing function on the RevOps & Data team. You’ll be the dedicated owner of our HubSpot marketing instance - lead lifecycle, attribution, email programs, deliverability, data hygiene, and SLA reporting - and the reason our marketing reporting is accurate and trustworthy.

You’ll report to the Head of RevOps & Data and partner daily with the Head of Demand Gen to operationalize campaigns and nurtures. You’ll work alongside a GTM Engineer (Growth) and a Senior Data Analyst who owns our Snowflake lakehouse and BI stack. Small team, big scope.

This role is remote (US) with occasional in-person working sessions (travel paid for by Unstructured).

What You'll Own & Drive

  • Own the lead lifecycle in HubSpot: stage definitions, date stamping and transition logic, nurture enrollment criteria, and the marketing -> BDR handoff.

  • Ensure attribution and tracking are reliable: capture first-touch source, UTM parameters, and campaign data so reporting is accurate.

  • Execute marketing automation platform (MAP) tasks: email scheduling, list uploads, segment creation and maintenance, and workflows.

  • Operationalize email programs - not necessarily write copy: create, test, QA, and schedule marketing emails and build nurture pathways.

  • Manage opt-in/opt-out lists, email deliverability, and compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL).

  • Own data hygiene and deduplication across the contact and account database.

  • Build and report on sales/marketing SLAs.

  • Administer and maintain marketing ops tools (HubSpot, Vector, Octolens, and others) and recommend improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • 4-6 years in marketing operations (or demand gen / revenue ops with a marketing focus) at a B2B SaaS company.

  • Experience building processes & systems from the ground-up

  • Deep HubSpot experience (Marketing Hub + Operations Hub): workflows, lifecycle stages, lists, properties, and data management.

  • Deep no-code or low-code automation experience

  • Hands-on lead lifecycle ownership: stage logic, nurture enrollment, and marketing -> BDR handoff.

  • Attribution and tracking experience: first-touch source, UTM governance, and campaign reporting.

  • Email operations: building, testing, QAing, and scheduling emails and nurture pathways.

  • Email deliverability and compliance fluency, plus opt-in/opt-out (consent) management.

  • Data hygiene and deduplication; list creation, segmentation, and maintenance.

  • Experience defining and reporting on sales/marketing SLAs.

  • A documentation-heavy mindset and disciplined change management.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with intent/signal tools (Reo, Octolens) or similar.

  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools for ops efficiency.

  • Experience at a developer-focused or open-source company.

  • Experience with Enterprise ICPs and multi-touch B2B funnels.
