AI Summary

Own the systems, sequences, and production workflows to scale marketing infrastructure across national markets. Manage HubSpot operations, coordinate agency partners, and implement AI-driven automation to accelerate production timelines.

Meadow has proven the model. We've built the largest independent deathcare provider in California from scratch - a brand breaking through in one of the most overlooked categories in American life, serving families through one of life's hardest moments. Now we're taking it national.

The next 18 months will be the most operationally demanding in our history: reach 25+ markets, new channels, new products, different positioning for each one. The unlock for all of it is not the strategy - it's the execution infrastructure. Getting to the right marketing faster, per channel and per market. This role is that infrastructure.

We're hiring a Marketing Operations Manager to own the systems, sequences, and production workflows that make Meadow's marketing run. You'll report to Alison (Head of Marketing) and work with or manage our marketing coordinator.

Our objectives for the role

  • Make HubSpot a reliable engine. Audit every active sequence, work on user journey architecture and MQL workflows, and get hands-on when things need fixing. Every launch and every test runs through HubSpot - it needs to be right.

  • Land every market launch end-to-end. Own the production checklist from kickoff to day-1: landing pages briefed and QA'd, HubSpot configuration live, agencies on schedule, reporting running. Build the SOP that makes the 8th launch as clean as the 2nd.

  • Turn strategy into a plan and into results. Translate the marketing roadmap into weekly production commitments across agency partners and engineering. They know what's due and when.

  • Compress the work with AI. Use LLMs and automation to accelerate production timelines, reduce repeating manual work, and find leverage the team can build on.

  • Build the experiment infrastructure. Set up the tooling - A/B platforms, UTM structure, HubSpot reporting sliced by market and product - that lets the team run channel and positioning experiments and actually read the results.

  • Run the operational rhythm. Lead the marketing coordinator. Own the production calendar, campaign QA, and weekly outputs that keep the engine running predictably.

What success looks like

3 months: own the foundation.

  • You've launched one new city end-to-end - landing pages live, HubSpot configured, agencies on schedule. You've audited every active sequence and handed the agency a prioritized roadmap. The next launch starts from your checklist.

12 months: enable the expansion.

  • 15 markets launched or on track. The playbook runs without heroics. A/B testing infrastructure is live. We are spending time on strategy - not unblocking agency deliverables or catching QA fires that should have been caught earlier. At least two recurring workflows are measurably faster than they were a year ago.

We're looking for

  • Ops-intense. You run a high-volume, concurrent environment without dropping things - and show up the same way tomorrow. You describe your bottlenecks, not just your wins.

  • Orchestrate with partners. Agencies, engineering, channel teams - you've held them to a production calendar. You owned the relationship, not just supported it.

  • Quality and taste. You review your own work against a real bar before it goes upstream. You understand what it means to communicate with a family at one of the hardest moments of their lives. You can tell good work from slop, including AI-generated slop.

  • Builds systems, not workarounds. You step back from execution to redesign how the work gets done. You think about market 10 while setting up market 3. You have a real AI and automation practice - specific workflows changed, specific time saved.

  • High agency. Drive progress - find the next step and move important work forward. You don't need direction to know what to do next.

Profile:

  • 3-5 years marketing with meaningful time in marketing ops, lifecycle/CRM, or campaign operations

  • HubSpot fluency (can direct the agency and get hands-on when needed)

  • B2C brand experience at a startup or high-trust company (insurance, fintech, health, DTC)

  • track record coordinating across agencies and channel teams.

Why join us

  • Build the national expansion model. Meadow is going from 10 to 18 markets this year and eventually to every major city in the country. The person in this role will have built the operational infrastructure that made that possible - a real career artifact.

  • Full surface area. CRM, launches, campaigns, agencies, a coordinator. Very few early marketing roles give you this range of exposure.

  • Work with adults. Alison has built marketing functions at scale. Sam and the leadership team have done this before. You'll be given real ownership, held to a real standard, and trusted to figure things out - no approval chain, no hand-holding.

  • Mission that's concrete. We help families through one of life's hardest moments. Not a tagline.
