YOUR ROLE IN VT MARKETS
As Marketing Data Analyst, you will report to the Head of Digital Growth and serve as the data backbone of VT Markets' Growth Team, operating remotely from China. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating marketing performance and generating user growth insights across global markets—building the analytical infrastructure that powers smarter, faster decisions across the business. You will work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Operations teams globally, as well as the Global Marketing COE in Singapore, to ensure data-driven strategies translate into measurable business outcomes. From attribution modelling and anti-fraud detection to automated reporting and budget optimisation, your analytical work will directly shape how VT Markets allocates and scales its global marketing investment. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • You have established a reliable, cross-channel attribution framework that is trusted and actively used by Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to make confident, data-backed decisions on budget allocation and campaign strategy.
  • You have built a self-serve reporting infrastructure that reduces ad-hoc data requests and empowers stakeholders across global regions to independently access the growth insights they need.
  • You have created a proactive fraud detection capability that meaningfully improves the quality and authenticity of user acquisition, ensuring VT Markets' marketing investments deliver genuine long-term trader value.
 
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
Job Experience & Education
  • 3–5 years of experience in growth analytics, marketing analytics, or a related data function, with strong preference for backgrounds in Fintech, Gaming, or E-commerce with global User Acquisition (UA) experience.
  • Hands-on experience working with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as AppsFlyer or Adjust, and data integration platforms such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field; equivalent industry experience is equally considered.
Technical & Functional Skills
  • Expert-level SQL proficiency; strong working knowledge of Python or R for data processing, statistical modelling, and automation; familiarity with data warehouses such as Google BigQuery or Snowflake.
  • Solid mathematical foundation in probability and statistics, with the ability to independently design A/B tests — including sample size calculation, significance testing, and attribution logic.
  • Experience building and managing BI dashboards (e.g. Tableau, Looker, or equivalent) to deliver scalable, self-service reporting solutions across global teams.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical storyteller — able to translate complex datasets and model outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous, with a strong sense of data quality ownership and the discipline to maintain accuracy across high-volume, multi-market datasets.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, fast-paced global environment with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver insights under tight timelines.
Other Requirements
  • Working proficiency in English, with the ability to navigate English-language technical documentation and global ad platform APIs.
  • Due to the remote nature of the role, you will need to access your personal device & laptop for work.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Full-Funnel Attribution: Establish and maintain cross-channel attribution models (MMM/MTA) to accurately evaluate the contribution of Google, Meta, TikTok, KOLs, and Affiliates; resolve attribution data gaps and discrepancies across Web and App platforms.
  • Marketing ROI Optimisation: Monitor CAC and LTV across global markets in real-time; conduct Cohort Analysis to identify high-value channels and deliver data-driven recommendations for multi-million dollar marketing budget allocation.
  • User Behaviour Insights: Conduct deep-dive analysis into churn drivers at key conversion nodes — Registration, KYC, First Trade, and Deposit — to identify funnel growth opportunities and guide the design and evaluation of product-side A/B tests.
  • Anti-Fraud & Quality Control: Develop anti-fraud detection models to combat "bonus hunters" and ad traffic fraud in overseas markets, protecting marketing spend and ensuring it reaches authentic, high-quality traders.
  • Automated Reporting System: Build and manage global growth dashboards using BI tools to enable data self-service across regions, currencies, and functions including Marketing, Product, and Operations.
