You will be responsible for selling MI and PGTI products through our dealer/distributor channel, promoting sales and margin growth and business opportunities while providing professional product expertise, business counsel, and marketing advice to our dealers, architects, and home builders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-class service to existing and potential accounts in a prompt, professional manner.
  • Establish and grow positive relationships through account management.
  • Train account associates to sell and understand the key benefits of our products.
  • Keep sales management informed of any issues or potential issues with the customer.
  • Provide recommendations for sales management to maintain and grow market share.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy to better serve the customer.
  • Resolve customer complaints.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the product line.
  • Maintain stock integrity, negotiate returns, and build strong rapport with account personnel.

Requirements

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers in the region.
  • Ability to successfully manage customer expectations by providing superior service to each customer.
  • BA/BS in Management, Marketing, or related field; or a successful combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds at varying levels of an organization.
